With the bright sunshine and the warm Loveland air upon us, the highly anticipated patio season is here for everyone to enjoy. These are some of the best dining days in Colorado! There’s nothing like eating fresh Northern Colorado produce under the sun that it sprouted in, or sipping on our house-made Sangria during a beautiful sunset dinner. These are magical summer moments that we love sharing with you.

Our fans at Next Door Food and Drink enjoy a variety of our menu items during the summer months because this is when the flavors of our community truly come to life. It’s a season where salads are exceptionally refreshing, especially paired with a glass of wine or a local craft beer.

We’ve tapped into some of our expert resources at the restaurant to provide a couple of patio dining recommendations from our Executive Chef, Matt Smith and our Pastry Chef, Evey Post. They are some of the people who know how to make those magical moments delicious! If you take them up on their suggestions, we would love to hear how your visit went. Feel free to leave a comment on our blog post or on our Facebook page.

On the patio there is nothing better than one of our hamburgers. You can select from numerous toppings and really make the burger your own.

Vegan Quinoa Hazel Dell Mushroom “Burger”

Basil Marinated Chicken Breast

You can choose from:

White cheddar, manchego, blue cheese, mozzarella, and goat cheese
Onion Marmalade or Smoked Paprika Aioli to spice it up
Peppered Bacon, Shishito Peppers, Hazel Dell Mushrooms, or Fried Egg for some texture
And Gluten Free Buns!

Raspberry sorbet

From Evey Post:

For the patio, I’d go for the Raspberry Sorbet. It’s so refreshing. And the Caramel Corn. It’s something fun and unexpected with the touch of cayenne and bacon.
